Spanish Ticket Wins EuroMillions

Spanish Ticket Wins EuroMillions

A single ticket that had been purchased in Spain landed the triple-rollover EuroMillions jackpot on Friday 27 April, but it wasn’t all bad news for UK players because two of the four second-tier prizes went to tickets purchased here. The EuroMillions results on Friday were 20, 27, 30, 36 and 43, with the numbers 01 and 06 featuring as the all-important Lucky Stars. The jackpot had a final value of £36,231,900, and now that it has been won the jackpot for the next EuroMillions game this Tuesday will be worth around £12 million.

As we said a moment ago, four tickets won a second-tier prize by matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star, and each of those prizes was worth £311,563. Another four tickets matched five main numbers only to win £103,854 each. The total number of EuroMillions prizes won was 2,638,130, but the biggest UK winner on Friday was the owner of the ticket that matched the Millionaire Raffle number XLX372244, because he or she is now £1 million richer than they were before!

In the Lotto game on Saturday 28 April, two tickets matched all six main numbers to share the jackpot of £3,949,504. The Lotto results were 01, 03, 09, 23, 37 and 46, and the Bonus Ball was 06. There were 12 winning tickets at the second-tier prize level, and each of those won £101,269 by matching five of the main numbers and the Bonus Ball. 524 tickets matched five main numbers only to win £1,449 each, and another 597,761 tickets won either £54 or £10 each by matching four or three main numbers.

There were no jackpot winners in the Irish Lotto game on Saturday 28 April, so the next jackpot this Wednesday 2 May will be worth around €4.5 million. The Irish Lotto results on Saturday were 03, 24, 32, 33, 40 and 42, and the Bonus Ball was 19. One ticket matched five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win a second-tier prize of €25,000, and the total number of tickets winning smaller consolation prizes was 38,990.

All of this means that we have brand new jackpots to play for in the midweek EuroMillions and UK Lotto games, and a €4.5 million rollover jackpot to have a go at in the midweek Irish Lotto game. Click here to buy your lottery tickets online and good luck!
