Spanish Ticket Scoops EuroMillions
Updated: Tuesday 8th April 2014
One lottery ticket that had been purchased in Spain landed the EuroMillions jackpot last night, making success look easy and giving the winner a brand new fortune worth £43,086,063. This means that Spanish players have now had three jackpot wins in 2013, and with another ten weeks of the year remaining, that tally could get even higher. Now that the multi-rollover jackpot has finally been landed, the next EuroMillions game this Friday will offer a new top prize of around £12 million.
The EuroMillions results that gave Spain its third jackpot win of the year were 18, 27, 39, 43 and 47, along with the Lucky Star numbers 04 and 07. Although Brits missed out on the jackpot itself, one of two winning tickets at the second tier had been purchased in the UK, and gave its owner a prize of £399,236 for matching all five of the main numbers plus one of the Lucky Stars.
There were 10 tickets that matched the five main numbers without either of the Lucky Stars to secure a third tier prize of £26,615 each, and 76 tickets won £1,751 each by matching the five main numbers only. More than 1.77 million prizes were landed at the lower levels, and another UK player won a cool £1,000,000 by matching the Millionaire Raffle number FKP944914.
Whilst the next jackpot of £12 million isn’t quite as impressive as the £43 million that was won last night, it is still a massive amount of money and well worth pursuing. All that stands between you and multi-millionaire status are the EuroMillions results that will be drawn, and you can increase your chances of winning by purchasing multiple tickets. If you want to include one or more of the most overdue numbers on any of your lines, the main numbers to consider are 46, 22, 08, 34 and 29, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 01 and 11.
Before we get to the next EuroMillions game on Friday there is a new jackpot of around £2.5 million to play for in the midweek Lotto game this evening (Wednesday 16 October). Don’t forget that every Lotto ticket you buy also gives you a chance to win one of 50 prizes worth £20,000 each in the Lotto Raffle draw, so head this way to enter your numbers online and good luck!
