Spain Lands More EuroMillions

Spain Lands More EuroMillions

Spain landed another EuroMillions jackpot last Friday 19 June when one ticket matched all seven numbers required to scoop €24,835,107. Those numbers were 07, 14, 20, 31 and 42, along with the Lucky Stars 03 and 09, and the latest jackpot success is the 73rd for Spain since the game began in 2004. There have been 313 jackpots won thus far, so Spain has a winning strike rate of 23.3%. France continues to be the most successful nation overall, having won 76 jackpots, whilst Portugal and the UK have notched up 55 and 50 jackpot wins, respectively.

There were 12 tickets that won a second tier prize of £93,563 each by matching all five main numbers as well as one of the Lucky Stars, and one of those entries had been purchased by a player in the UK. Another 12 tickets matched the five main numbers only to win £31,854 each, and 89 entries won £2,147 each by matching four main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars.

More than 2.53 million prizes were won in total on Friday night, and players in the UK shared a very impressive total of over £3.33 million. In addition, one UK player matched the Millionaire Maker code FWZ871636 to win the life-changing sum of £1 million.

EuroMillions players who didn’t win big in the previous game can now have a go at winning a brand new jackpot worth around £10 million this Tuesday 23 June. None of the most overdue numbers appeared on Friday, so the main numbers to look out for are still 33, 12, 13, 38 and 27, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 04 and 02.

We should also point out that the last Friday of the month is coming up at the end of this week, which means that it will be a Mega Friday, when 10 lucky EuroMillions players in the UK will win £1 million each thanks to the Millionaire Maker game. We will preview that game properly later in the week, but for now the £10 million top prize in the Tuesday EuroMillions draw should take centre stage. Good luck with your entries and let us know if you become the latest jackpot-winner!
