Sixth Rollover for EuroMillions

Sixth Rollover for EuroMillions

The EuroMillions jackpot rolled over for the sixth time in a row last Friday 18 March, giving the next jackpot on Friday 25 March an estimated value of around £117 million. Ticket sales for the EuroMillions game have been climbing steadily over the last few weeks, and we fully expect that trend to continue now that the amount of money up for grabs has broken through the nine-figure mark. Because every ticket purchased has a 1 in 24 chance of winning any prize at all, the number of prizes that are won is also expected to rise week-on-week until the multi-rollover jackpot is finally landed.

The five main numbers drawn last Friday were 01, 13, 20, 26 and 50, and the two Lucky Star numbers were 06 and 07. In the associated Millionaire Raffle game, the winning number was SNH689489. A second-tier consolation prize of £233,137 was won by 16 lucky players who matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star. 29 players won £36,502 each by matching the five main numbers with no Lucky Stars, and 118 players won £4,021 each after matching four of the five main numbers and both Lucky Star numbers. The Millionaire Raffle prize, as always, was worth a cool £1,000,000.

Our EuroMillions Statistics page reveals that the main numbers described as being ‘most overdue’ to make an appearance are currently 06, 30, 31, 04 and 05, whilst the most overdue Lucky Stars are 04 and 01. Whether any of those numbers will help someone to land the £117 million jackpot this Friday is something we will just have to wait and see about.

The Lotto jackpot last Saturday 19 March was a lot more forthcoming than EuroMillions, and two tickets matched all six main numbers (10, 26, 28, 34, 35 and 39 - the Bonus Ball was 17) to share a jackpot worth £5,014,478. A second-tier prize of £257,152 was won by 6 players who matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball, and another 339 players picked up £2,844 by matching five main numbers only.
