Sixth Consecutive Lotto Jackpot Landed
Last night’s Lotto game saw the jackpot landed for the sixth draw in a row, clearing the way for a brand new jackpot in the first game of February. The Lotto results on Wednesday 29 January were 09, 29, 37, 38, 42 and 46, and the Bonus Ball number was 35. One ticket matched all six main numbers to win the life-changing sum of £2,793,464, which was more than half a million more than originally estimated. The next Lotto jackpot this Saturday 1 February is expected to be worth around £4.4 million.
There were 88 tickets that fell just one main number short of landing a share of the Lotto jackpot last night. Three of those tickets matched the Bonus Ball as well as five main numbers to secure a second tier prize worth £74,324 each, whilst the remaining 85 tickets that matched five main numbers only had to settle for a third tier prize of £2,227 each.
The fourth tier delivered a prize of £169 to each of 5,908 tickets that matched four main numbers, and the smallest prize of £25 went to each of 115,362 tickets that matched three main numbers. The Lotto Raffle game created 50 winners of £20,000 each, so if you had a ticket or two for the game last night and you haven’t yet checked your Raffle numbers, you might want to do so now.
In the Health Lottery game, the results of which were published a little later in the evening, the main numbers drawn were 23, 30, 36, 38 and 40. No ticket matched all of those numbers and so no player won the top prize of £100,000, but more than 3,000 tickets won a consolation prize by matching fewer numbers, with or without the Bonus Ball number 18. Two Hot Ticket prizes of £5,000 each were won by the tickets bearing the numbers PHLCIY867583 and PHLCIY275359.
Lottery players now have one more big chance to win themselves multi-millionaire status before the end of the month thanks to the EuroMillions game this Friday 31 January. The jackpot is expected to be worth around £58 million, so visit this page to buy your tickets online today and good luck with your numbers!
