Six of the Best in Saturday Lotto

Six of the Best in Saturday Lotto

Last week we reported that three players had shared the midweek Lotto jackpot, and now, just a few days later, we can tell you that the jackpot in the Lotto game on Saturday was won by twice as many players. Yes, there were six jackpot-winning tickets on Saturday 10 March, and because the jackpot itself was worth £3,953,430, each of those winning tickets now has a value of £658,905. That is £7,467 more than the value of each winning ticket last Wednesday, so the winners will be grateful that the Saturday jackpot was worth roughly twice as much as its midweek counterpart.

The Lotto results on Saturday 10 March were 01, 03, 12, 23, 37 and 43, and the Bonus Ball was 33. There were 23 winning tickets that won £52,888 each at the second-tier prize level after matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball. 593 tickets matched five main numbers only to win £1,282 each, and another 605,003 tickets matched either four or three main numbers to win £51 or £10 each, respectively. The next Lotto jackpot this Wednesday 14 March will be worth around £2.2 million.

Whilst there were six jackpot-winners in the Lotto game last Saturday, there wasn’t a single jackpot-winning ticket in the EuroMillions game on Friday. The main EuroMillions numbers drawn on Friday 9 March were 03, 32, 36, 39 and 47, and the Lucky Star numbers were 06 and 09. Although the jackpot itself proved elusive, three tickets did manage to match the five main numbers and one of the Lucky Star numbers to win £402,933 each.

4 tickets won £100,733 by matching five main numbers only, and another 45 tickets matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars to win £4,477 each. There were more than 2.46 million EuroMillions prize-winners in total, and one player in the UK won £1 million by matching the Millionaire Raffle number GGT821661.

All of that means that EuroMillions players now have a double-rollover jackpot of around £27 million to play for this Tuesday 13 March. Buy your lottery tickets online today for that game as well as the Lotto game on Wednesday and the next big jackpot-winner could be you! Good luck!
