Six Jackpot Winners in Saturday’s UK Lotto Draw
Saturday’s UK Lotto draw was a resounding success as six lucky players hit the jackpot. The sextet of winners matched all six main numbers drawn to win a share of the £4.8 million top prize.
The last time a UK Lotto draw resulted in six or more ticket holders all matching the jackpot winning combination was over a year ago, on 12th January 2013, when eight players matched all six main numbers drawn to share the £2.2 million prize.
The winning numbers from Saturday’s draw were 5, 10, 16, 23, 31 and 44 with the Bonus Ball of 37. Joining the top prize tier winners were almost 400,000 other players who matched at least three of the main numbers to secure a prize.
The second highest prize from the main UK Lotto draw was worth £15,117 and was won by 17 players who matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball. They were followed by 551 players who matched five main numbers to win £396 each and 24,029 players who matched four main numbers to win £48 each. The final tier saw 366,377 players match just three main numbers to win the set prize of £25 each.
The additional UK Lotto Raffle had 100 prizes of £20,000 up for grabs and you can check if you’ve matched one of the 100 winning codes by visiting the Lotto Raffle Results page now.
The next UK Lotto draw takes place on Wednesday and has an estimated jackpot of £2.2 million on offer. Follow the Lottery Tickets tab at the top of the page to find out how you can participate in the mid-week draw.
Alternatively, if you can’t until Wednesday, EuroMillions has a colossal jackpot worth £95 million on offer in tomorrow night’s draw. The supersized top prize is the third largest seen so far this year and is the result of ten consecutive draws without a top tier winner. For the chance to scoop this life-changing prize, buy your tickets for tomorrow night’s draw and, who knows, you could be waking up on Wednesday morning the latest EuroMillions multi-millionaire.Published: Monday 9th June 2014
