Single Ticket Scoops Second Jackpot Win Since Lotto Changes
Updated: Friday 30th October 2015
A single ticket holder became the second jackpot winner since the Lotto changes came into action by matching all six main numbers on Saturday 24th October. The player picked up £4.3 million just days after Wednesday’s £14.6 million haul, the first win under the new 59-ball system that was launched on Saturday October 10th.
Another ticket holder matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball in last night’s draw to snap up £98,370 and one player banked £1 million courtesy of the top prize in Lotto Millionaire Raffle. The supplementary game also created a further 20 winners of £20,000.
The main Lotto numbers drawn were 29, 31, 43, 55, 58 and 59 with Bonus Ball 11 and prizes ranged from a free Lotto Lucky Dip ticket for matching two main numbers up to £2,251 for matching five main balls. There is a full prize breakdown and a list of all the winning Lotto Millionaire Raffle codes at the Lottery Results section.
Wednesday’s Lotto jackpot will be worth £2.3 million, with another 20 awards of £20,000 and one £1 million prize on offer in Lotto Millionaire Raffle. Now the clocks have gone back, if the gloom of the evenings is too much, you could use one of the big prizes on Wednesday to fund a prolonged winter break to somewhere significantly more tropical than home!
Lotto tickets are on sale now online and from authorised retailers. Get hold of your entries before sales finish at 7:30pm on the day of the draw.Published: Sunday 25th October 2015
