Single Ticket Scoops Lotto Jackpot

Single Ticket Scoops Lotto Jackpot
Updated: Wednesday 23rd April 2014

The Lotto jackpot on Saturday 23 July was landed by a single ticket. The Lotto results which transformed the ticket into one worth £4,305,528 were 01, 02, 11, 30, 33 and 45. The Bonus Ball number, which is largely irrelevant to jackpot winners but can be very useful to those who come close to winning the top prize, was 39. This single ticket Lotto win followed a split jackpot in the EuroMillions game on Friday night, when two tickets matched all the numbers required to win the top prize.

13 players proved to be almost as lucky as the jackpot winner in the Lotto game on Saturday, matching five of the six main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win a second tier prize of £101,905 each. Another 410 players won £2,019 each by matching five main numbers only, and all told the Lotto game created 541,502 prize winners.

The Lotto jackpot for the next game this Wednesday 27 July has now been reset and will be worth an estimated £2.2 million. The most overdue Lotto numbers (for those who like to include one or more of those among their selections) are 14, 12, 20, 46, 17 and 27.

Before we get to that Lotto draw, we have a EuroMillions game to enjoy on Tuesday 26 July. The jackpot will be worth around £13 million and the most overdue main numbers are currently 07, 43, 32, 18 and 02, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 11 and 08.

With many people looking forward to their summer holidays over the next few weeks, now is a good time to consider taking advantage of the ‘advance play’ option when you buy lottery tickets online. This allows you to enter the same numbers for several consecutive draws, which means that your numbers could still help you to land a jackpot even if you are sunning yourself in another country when the draws take place. Enjoy whatever sunshine you can get at home or abroad and good luck!
