September Closes with Midweek Lotto
Updated: Wednesday 30th September 2015
The month of September will be brought to a close for lottery players by the midweek Lotto game this evening, which will offer a brand new jackpot worth an estimated £2 million. Just one of the last six midweek Lotto draws has resulted in a jackpot rollover, so hopes are high that the fortunate run will continue tonight and that someone will soon be enjoying a brand new life as a multi-millionaire. Whatever happens with the jackpot, the Lotto Raffle game is guaranteed to award a prize of £20,000 to each of 50 Lotto participants, so celebrations this evening will be inevitable for quite a few people.
The last EuroMillions game of September took place last night, and we can report that a single ticket purchased in Portugal matched all five main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars to win €15 million. The numbers responsible for that success on Tuesday 29 September were 11, 14, 26, 29 and 49, along with the Lucky Stars 03 and 09.
There were five tickets that matched all five of the main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars to win £149,089 each, and we can tell you that three of those tickets had been bought right here in the UK. There were no British winners at the third tier, but nine tickets purchased overseas won their owners €36,674 each by matching the five main numbers only.
As usual, the consolation prizes were smaller at the lower levels, with 72 tickets winning £1,725 each by matching four main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars, and more than 1.7 million entries securing lesser amounts. UK participants landed more than £2.42 million overall, and that isn’t including the £1 million that was won by the lucky player who matched the Millionaire Maker code XLK740008.
The next EuroMIllions game on Friday will offer another brand new jackpot which is expected to weigh in at around £11 million, but first we have the chance to win big in the midweek Lotto game. The most overdue Lotto numbers right now are 11, 34, 13, 38, 45 and 01, so feel free to include one or more of those on your tickets if you like to follow the Lotto Statistics and good luck with the £2 million jackpot!Published: Wednesday 30th September 2015
