Second EuroMillions Superdraw of the Year Announced
Updated: Wednesday 13th August 2014
It was announced today that a special EuroMillions Superdraw will take place on Friday 6th June, offering players a guaranteed jackpot of €100 million (£80 million*). The draw will take the same format as previous Superdraws and give players the chance to win a guaranteed jackpot, irrespective of whether the top tier prize is won in the preceding draw.
This special draw will be the second of its kind this year and also the 16th EuroMillions Superdraw since the lottery launched in 2004. The first Superdraw of 2014 was held on Friday 7th March no player managed to match all seven numbers drawn to walk away with the Superdraw jackpot. The top prize went on to roll over for two further draws until, on 14th March, UK ticket holder Neil Trotter matched the winning numbers to scoop the entire £107 million (€129 million) prize.
Tickets for the EuroMillions Superdraw will be available to purchase in advance, either online or from authorised retailers in the nine participating EuroMillions countries, from Friday 9th May. Due to size of the guaranteed jackpot, ticket sales for the draw are expected to rise significantly so we strongly advise anyone wishing to participate to buy their tickets well in advance of the draw.

Details on special EuroMillions draws can be found on the EuroMillions Superdraws page.
*EuroMillions guarantee a jackpot of €100 million which, under current exchange rates, converts to approximately £80 million. However, this amount is subject to fluctuation.
