Saturday Lotto Triple Rollover Jackpot!
The Lotto game this Saturday 24 January will offer a triple rollover jackpot with an estimated value of £12.2 million after no player succeeded in winning the top prize in the midweek draw. That estimated jackpot is even higher than the £11 million which is expected to be up for grabs in the EuroMillions game on Friday, and even the most casual of lottery players are likely to take notice. Our advice is to buy your tickets early and to do so online in order to avoid the inevitable queues that are set to frustrate players at offline retail outlets.
The Lotto results on Wednesday 21 January – and the ones that gave us the opportunity to pursue the triple rollover jackpot this Saturday – were 01, 06, 32, 34, 37 and 45, with the number 26 appearing as the Bonus Ball. We have already established that the jackpot (which had a final value of £9,519,303) rolled over, but the good news is that more than 142,000 consolation prizes were landed by midweek players.
As is usually the case, the biggest consolation prizes were found at the second tier, where four tickets matched five of the main numbers as well as the Bonus Ball to pick up a prize worth £67,927 each. There were 107 tickets that won £2,156 each by matching five main numbers only, and another 6,783 tickets won £179 each by matching four main numbers. A prize of £25 went to each of 135,887 players who matched three main numbers, and the Lotto Raffle draw awarded a prize of £20,000 to each of 50 lucky winners.
Just one of the most overdue Lotto numbers made an appearance on Wednesday, and that was the number 01. The most overdue numbers as we head towards the triple rollover jackpot game are now 08, 21, 27, 39, 03 and 26, whilst the most common Lotto numbers are 23, 40, 44, 38, 30 and 33.
For those of you who want to include one or more of the most overdue numbers for the EuroMillions game on Friday, the main numbers to consider are 43, 16, 11, 35 and 40, and the most overdue Lucky Stars are 07 and 05. At the opposite end of the statistical spectrum, the most common main numbers in the EuroMillions game are 50, 04, 38, 44 and 25, and the most common Lucky Stars are 05 and 03.
Whatever numbers you choose to enter for the lottery games that are coming up, click here to play online and you won't risk getting crushed in a supermarket stampede. Good luck and remember to let us know if you win big!
