Saturday Lotto Rollover Jackpot!
The Saturday Lotto game this week will give participants the chance to win a rollover jackpot with an estimated value of £5.3 million after no ticket was able to land the top prize in the midweek draw. The good news is that more than 144,000 consolation prizes were won by tickets matching three or more numbers, and another 50 prizes of £20,000 each were won in the associated Lotto Raffle game. The Lotto results for Wednesday 3 December were 04, 17, 19, 25, 35 and 37, and the Bonus Ball number was 07.
There were 122 tickets that fell just one main number short of winning the Lotto jackpot last night. Two of those tickets also managed to match the Bonus Ball, and that gave their owners a very useful second tier prize of £82,181 each. The rest of the tickets that matched five main numbers only won a third tier prize worth £1,162 each. The fourth tier saw 7,318 tickets win £100 each by matching four main numbers only, and 137,320 tickets matched three main numbers only to win £25 each at the lower prize level.
In the Health Lottery game, the main numbers drawn were 05, 10, 13, 16 and 42, and the Bonus Ball was 40. No ticket matched all five main numbers and so the top prize gave players the slip, but over 36,000 consolation prizes were won by tickets matching fewer numbers, with or without the Bonus Ball.
Over in Ireland, the Irish Lotto results last night were 10, 14, 17, 18, 40 and 45, with the number 43 appearing as the Bonus Ball. The jackpot rolled over in this game too, but two tickets matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball to secure a second tier prize of €25,000 each, and more than 21,000 prizes were landed at the lower levels.
Lottery players will now have an advertised jackpot of £5.3 million to pursue in the UK Lotto game on Saturday, and an estimated €2.5 million to try and win in the Irish Lotto game. Before we get to that, we have a brand new EuroMillions jackpot of around £11 million to play for on Friday night.
