Saturday Lotto Jackpot Success

Saturday Lotto Jackpot Success

All lottery players dream of winning a life-changing jackpot someday and for one lucky Lotto player that day was last Saturday. The winning ticket landed a rollover jackpot fortune worth a staggering £6,299,421, and although we don't yet know who the successful player is, we can be pretty sure that if they are already aware of their win they will definitely be in a celebratory mood. The owners of 521,551 other tickets will also be celebrating after winning themselves a consolation prize of some sort, so if you haven't yet checked your numbers, now would be a good time to do so.

The main numbers drawn in the Lotto game on Saturday 23 February were 02, 16, 25, 30, 31 and 32, and the Bonus Ball number was 36. There were 12 entries that matched five of the main numbers as well as the Bonus Ball to win £104,902 each at the second-tier level, whilst 405 tickets won £1,942 each after matching five main numbers only. 25,832 tickets won their owners £67 each by matching four main numbers, and 495,302 tickets won £10 each by matching three main numbers.

If you were one of the winners just mentioned then you have our congratulations, and if you didn't then you have a new jackpot of around £2.1 million to look forward to in the midweek Lotto game this Wednesday.

The EuroMillions game on Friday 22 February didn't give anyone a jackpot payout, but one UK player still managed to become a millionaire by matching the Millionaire Raffle number ZFT249508. In the main game, the EuroMillions results were 15, 16, 28, 36 and 37, along with the Lucky Star numbers 02 and 11. There were three tickets that matched five main numbers plus one Lucky Star number to win a second-tier prize worth €512,861 to each of their owners, but sadly none of those tickets belonged to UK players. In contrast, nine tickets matched five main numbers only to secure a third-tier prize of £38,198 each, and four of those tickets had been bought in the UK.

33 tickets won a fourth-tier prize worth £5,208 each by matching four main numbers and both Lucky Star numbers, and 854 tickets won £176 each by matching four main numbers and just one Lucky Star. There were 2,340,035 consolation prizes won in total on Friday night, and we're guessing that many of the winners will be trying to win even more in the next game this Tuesday, which has an advertised jackpot of £18 million.

All of that excitement was packed into the last weekend of February, but there is still time to win a fortune before the end of the month thanks to the EuroMillions and Lotto games this Tuesday and Wednesday. Simply click here to buy your lottery tickets online and good luck with your numbers!
