Rollovers Return to EuroMillions
After an extended series of rollovers saw the EuroMillions jackpot being capped at €190 million, and then won last Friday night by British players Adrian and Gillian Bayford, players might have been hoping for a bit of a break before the next rollover made an appearance. Unfortunately, the EuroMillions results had other ideas on Tuesday 14 August, and the £11.8 million jackpot rolled to the next game thanks to no ticket matching all seven of the numbers drawn. That means players have an estimated jackpot of around £20 million to play for this Friday 17 August.
The EuroMillions results for Tuesday 14 August were 01, 16, 38, 42 and 45, and the Lucky Stars were 09 and 10. Those are the exact same Lucky Star numbers that helped make the Bayfords the second biggest lottery winners in the UK in the previous draw, but all they could do this time around was help players to land a better consolation prize than they might have done otherwise.
Two tickets matched all five main numbers and one Lucky Star, but neither of those tickets belonged to players in the UK, so both prizes were paid out in euros and were worth €601,187 each. Seven tickets – two purchased in the UK – matched five main numbers only to win £41,422 each. Below that level, over 1.66 million tickets won smaller prizes of up to £4,999 each by matching fewer numbers. The biggest UK winner on Tuesday night was the person who won £1,000,000 by matching the Millionaire Raffle number KFT691325.
Now players will be hoping that they can replicate some of the success that Adrian and Gillian Bayford had by matching all seven EuroMillions numbers this Friday. Every line of numbers entered for the game will have exactly the same chance of winning, but for those of you who want to take our EuroMillions Statistics into consideration, the most overdue main numbers right now are 33, 06, 09, 41 and 12, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 07 and 06.
Will any of those numbers come up in the next draw? Will the Lucky Stars numbers 09 and 10 show up for the third draw in a row? Perhaps the biggest question of all is, will the £20 million jackpot actually be won or will it roll again? Buy your lottery tickets online today and all will be revealed this Friday. You might also want to buy a ticket or two for the midweek Lotto game tonight so that you also have a chance to win a Wednesday jackpot of around £2.1 million! Good luck!
