Rollover Jackpot for Saturday Lotto
Updated: Thursday 23rd October 2014
As if it wasn't exciting enough having a EuroMillions jackpot of around £150 million to play for this Friday 24 October, the Saturday Lotto game will now boast a rollover jackpot worth around £5.5 million. That gives players a tremendous way to end the working week, and if anyone matches all of the numbers drawn in either of the games just mentioned it could be the last working week they ever have to think about! Add in a Millionaire Raffle prize of £1 million on Friday and 100 Lotto Raffle prizes of £20,000 each on Saturday and the potential to win big money is even better!
The Lotto results in the midweek game on Wednesday 22 October were 05, 24, 28, 36, 42 and 47, with the number 08 drawn as the Bonus Ball. Although the jackpot itself rolled over, there was a particularly impressive prize won at the second tier, where a single ticket matched five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball number to land the sum of £176,790.
There were 127 tickets that won £1,181 each by matching five main numbers only, and another 7,004 tickets won £113 each by matching four main numbers. The smallest possible prize of £25 went to each of 125,410 tickets that matched three main numbers only, and 50 players won £20,000 each in the Lotto Raffle game.
With two big jackpots to play for in the EuroMillions and Lotto games this Friday and Saturday, it seems as good a time as any to take a quick look at the Lottery Statistics to see which numbers are most overdue to make an appearance. As far as the EuroMillions game is concerned, the most overdue main numbers are 37, 41, 44, 43 and 16, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 06 and 11. For the Lotto game on Saturday, the most overdue numbers are 39, 21, 45, 49, 17 and 25.
We will have to wait and see if any of the numbers just mentioned help anyone to win the £150 million EuroMillions jackpot on Friday or the £5.5 million Lotto jackpot on Saturday, and we will of course keep you fully updated with the results in due course. In the meantime, click here to buy your tickets for both games online and you may soon be celebrating the jackpot win of a lifetime! Good luck!
