Rollover Jackpot for Friday EuroMillions
A rollover jackpot worth around £21 million will be up for grabs in the Friday EuroMillions game this week after no ticket matched all of the numbers required to land the top prize on Tuesday. The EuroMillions results on Tuesday 1 May were 04, 05, 15, 19 and 41, and the Lucky Star numbers were 09 and 11. Although the jackpot wasn’t landed this time around, more than 1.45 million tickets picked up a consolation prize of some kind, and two of those tickets won £303,742 each by matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star.
9 tickets matched five main numbers only to win a third-tier prize of £22,499 each, and 28 tickets won £3,615 each after matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars. All other winning tickets won £166 or less by matching four main numbers and one Lucky Star or less, with the smallest prizes going to those who matched two main numbers only. The winning Millionaire Raffle number on Tuesday was YMB515287.
Before the Tuesday draw took place the main number 41 had been highlighted on our EuroMillions Statistics page as one of the numbers ‘most overdue’ to be drawn. So-called ‘overdue numbers’ don’t turn up in every game by any means, but it is always encouraging when they do, so we were pleased to see 41 among the ranks of the winning numbers. For those of you who want to keep an eye open for more overdue numbers this Friday (and maybe include one or more of them on your tickets) the most overdue main numbers are now 40, 21, 02, 42 and 38, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 04 and 07.
Lottery players across Europe and around the world will no doubt be very keen to have a go at winning the £21 million jackpot this Friday, but before we get to that game UK players have a jackpot of around £2.2 million to play for in the Lotto game this evening (Wednesday 2 May). You can buy your lottery tickets online for both of these games, and if you hit the jackpot in either one of them you’ll have plenty to celebrate this Bank Holiday weekend! Good luck!
