After two days of waiting, it’s the news that every lottery player has been waiting for. A Scottish couple from the Falkirk area have come forward and claimed Tuesday’s record-breaking Euromillions Jackpot and if reports are correct the lucky couple are going to be unveiled at 2:30pm this afternoon from a hotel from within the town. The Euromillions record-breaking jackpot had really grabbed the entire nations attention and following the news that the winning ticket was won by a single ticket holder in the UK, people where jumping to conclusions of the whereabouts of the golden ticket.
Tuesday’s Euromillions winning numbers were 17, 19, 38, 42 and 45, and the lucky stars were 9 and 10. The record-breaking win sees the couple become the 430th richest person on the Sunday Times Rich List and overtake Angela Kelly as Scotland’s biggest ever lottery winner.
Lottery jackpot rollovers are coming more and more frequent these days with both the Euromillions and the UK Lotto draws rolling over in the past few months.
