Players Seek Lotto Jackpot Joy

Players Seek Lotto Jackpot Joy

Lottery players across the nation who are keen to win themselves a massive pile of cash in time for their summer holidays will be hoping to experience some jackpot joy in tonight’s Lotto game. The top prize has been landed in each of the last four Lotto games, so it is perfectly reasonable to think that someone might be able to extend the winning streak to five in a row. Even if that doesn’t happen, there will be plenty of consolation prize winners tonight, and the Lotto Raffle game will deliver the handy sum of £20,000 to each of 50 lucky players.

The EuroMillions results on Tuesday 7 July were 06, 07, 18, 33 and 41, along with the Lucky Star numbers 03 and 10. None of the tickets entered for the game succeeded in matching all seven of those numbers, so the jackpot – which had a final value of £22.16 million – rolled over for the third time in succession to set things up for an even bigger game this Friday.

There were three tickets that won their owners £259,301 each at the second tier prize level by matching all five main numbers plus one Lucky Star number, and one of those tickets had been purchased right here in the UK. A third tier prize of £25,930 went to each of 10 tickets that matched the five main numbers only

Another 25 tickets won £5,186 each by matching four main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars, and the total number of prizes landed across all the consolation levels was 1,655,235. The combined value of prizes won in the main EuroMillions game by UK participants was £2,329,116, and an additional prize of £1 million was won by the UK player who matched the Millionaire Maker code TCQ317821.

The triple rollover jackpot in the next EuroMillions game this Friday 10 July will be worth around £28 million, but someone reading these words just might have become a millionaire already by then thanks to tonight’s Lotto game. The Wednesday Lotto jackpot will be worth an estimated £2.1 million, so good luck to those of you who will be taking part and remember to visit our Lottery Results page to check your numbers!
