Opportunity Knocks for EuroMillions Fans
EuroMillions players who began this year with a desire to win a bigger than average jackpot have a golden opportunity to make it happen this Tuesday after the most recent draw gave fans a second consecutive rollover. The EuroMillions results on Friday 21 February were 13, 17, 28, 30 and 32, along with the Lucky Star numbers 05 and 07, and the rollover means that the jackpot in the next game this Tuesday 25 February will be worth around £25 million.
Five tickets came very close to winning the EuroMillions jackpot on Friday, but ended up having to settle for a second tier prize of £207,772 each for matching all five main and one of the Lucky Star numbers. Seven other tickets matched the five main numbers only to win £49,469 each, and the total number of prizes won in the main game was 2,790,038. One UK player won £1,000,000 in the Millionaire Raffle game by matching the number YWZ446529.
With the EuroMillions jackpot rolling over, players turned to the Saturday night lottery games for their next chance to win big. The Lotto results on Saturday 22 February were 19, 23, 34, 35, 39 and 49, and the Bonus Ball number was 33. One ticket matched all six of the main numbers just mentioned to win a rollover jackpot worth £7,647,028 and five other tickets won £89,598 each by matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball. There were more than 250,000 prizes won in total, and the Lotto Raffle game paid a prize of £20,000 to each of 100 winners.
The main numbers drawn in the Health Lottery game on Saturday were 01, 11, 12, 16 and 35, and the number 04 was selected as the Bonus Ball. No player won the top prize of £100,000 but there were over 87,000 consolation prizes landed, and we expect that many of the players concerned will be having another go at matching all five main numbers on Wednesday.
Will anyone reading these words win the £25 million EuroMillions jackpot that will be up for grabs this Tuesday? The only way to find out is to visit this page to buy your tickets online, think lucky thoughts and see what happens! Enjoy the game and good luck!
