One Ticket Wins Lotto Rollover
One ticket won the Lotto rollover jackpot on Wednesday 7 September. The Lotto results were 04, 29, 31, 36, 38 and 48, with the number 35 being drawn as the Bonus Ball, and the ticket which matched all of the main numbers is now worth a hefty £7,063,265. Jackpot hunters in the Irish Lotto game weren’t quite as successful, and the jackpot has therefore rolled over yet again to give players around €8 million to aim for this Saturday 10 September. Meanwhile, back here in the UK, our own Lotto jackpot value has been reset and will be worth around £4.1 million on Saturday.
It is obviously too early to know whether the owner of the jackpot-winning Lotto ticket is an individual or a syndicate, and it could be that the owner isn’t yet aware that their ticket has landed the top prize. Our advice to anyone who hasn’t checked their lottery tickets for last night is therefore to do so without delay, just in case a big prize has been landed without you realising it.
Five players matched five of the six main Lotto numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win a second-tier prize of £177,885 each, which is enough to have a noticeably positive impact on their lives. 206 players won £2,698 each by matching five main numbers only and 278,990 players won either £95 or £10 each for matching four or three main numbers, respectively.
Now that the UK Lotto rollover jackpot has been won, all eyes will be turning to the even bigger multi-rollover jackpot in the EuroMillions game this Friday 9 September. The jackpot will be worth an estimated £126 million, which is more than enough to warrant players buying themselves a few more tickets than usual.
We congratulate those who won a prize in the UK and Irish Lotto games on Wednesday and wish everyone who buys lottery tickets online the very best of luck in the EuroMillions and Lotto games at the end of this week.
