One Player Scoops Saturday Lotto Rollover
Updated: Wednesday 23rd April 2014
It’s Sunday morning, and that means it’s time to kick back with the Sunday papers, but not before you’ve checked the Lotto results for last night’s draw. The draw was a rollover, and it didn’t reach the estimated £6.8 million, however there was £5.9 million up for grabs and as one player scoops the Saturday Lotto rollover, we’re sure they won’t be complaining! If you haven’t yet checked the winning numbers then do so now as you may be one of the lucky winners!
With a rollover jackpot, the prize fund in last night’s Lotto draw was always going to be high. In the event, over £15 million was paid out to over 600,000 prize winners in the UK Lotto rollover.
A single lottery player will collect over £5.9 million for matching all six winning numbers in the draw to collect the jackpot. When it came to the second tier, lottery players were far more lucky with a staggering 15 players collecting £83,000 each for matching five main balls and the bonus.
Also taking place last night was the Thunderball draw, no one won the jackpot in this draw, the biggest prize winner being the second tier players who collect £5,000 each.
Next up from the National Lottery is Tuesday’s Euromillions draw, that draw is an estimated £18 million rollover so make sure you keep an eye on that one. Then on Wednesday evening is the UK Lotto and after last night’s winner, that jackpot will be worth around £2.4 million.
