One Player Scoops Lotto Jackpot

One Player Scoops Lotto Jackpot

One player ended the month of June on a very high note thanks to matching all six main numbers in the Lotto game on Saturday night. The Lotto results were 07, 13, 25, 31, 34 and 45, and the Bonus Ball number – which was pretty much redundant for the jackpot winner – was 04. We don’t know if the ticket that landed the Lotto jackpot was purchased by an individual or a syndicate, but we do know that it is now worth £6,053,028.

Whilst just one player won the Lotto jackpot, there were plenty of players who managed to win a consolation prize of some kind. 11 tickets matched five of the main numbers as well as the Bonus Ball number to win £106,794 each, and 622 tickets won £1,180 each by matching five main numbers only. A further 541,348 tickets won prizes of £54 or £10 each by matching four or three main numbers, respectively. Well done to all of the Saturday night Lotto winners, and those of you who didn’t pick up a prize can now have a go at winning a new jackpot of around £2 million in the next game this Wednesday 3 July.

The Health Lottery game followed Lotto’s example at the weekend by creating one top prize winner of £100,000. The Health Lottery results for Saturday 29 June were 10, 13, 17, 38 and 48, and the Bonus Ball was 18. The introduction of the new Bonus Ball in May of this year created twice as many ways to win a Health Lottery prize as there were previously, and on Saturday night more than 8,200 players did just that.

Irish Lottery players didn’t have any joy with the jackpot on Saturday, because no player matched all six main numbers, which were 12, 17, 19, 22, 28 and 43. One ticket matched five of those numbers as well as the Bonus Ball number 01 to win a second tier prize worth €25,000, and there were over 38,000 prizes landed at the lower levels. The next Irish Lottery game this Wednesday will now offer a multi-rollover jackpot worth around €4 million.

All of the action above took place just one day after a single ticket landed a jackpot worth £12.8 million in the EuroMillions game. The EuroMillions results for Friday 28 June were 01, 15, 28, 35 and 47, and the Lucky Star numbers were 01 and 07. The jackpot-winning ticket had been bought by a player in France, but players in the UK held their own as far as the non-jackpot prizes were concerned, taking home a total of £3,889,149. As if that wasn’t enough, another UK player won £1 million by matching the Millionaire Raffle number SXP713248.

As you can see, last weekend was fairly hectic, but the excitement isn’t over by any means. We now have a brand new month of winning opportunities to look forward to, and the EuroMillions game will get things underway this Tuesday by giving players the chance to win around £12 million. Click here to buy your tickets online right now and the first big winner of July could be you!
