One More Midweek Lottery Winner

One More Midweek Lottery Winner
Updated: Thursday 24th April 2014

The UK has one more midweek lottery winner after a single ticket matched all six main numbers to land a £2,293,007 jackpot on Wednesday 2 June. The lottery results for Wednesday were 02, 12, 17, 25, 33 and 39, and the Bonus Ball was number 01. Hopefully the owner of the winning ticket will check the results and make their claim promptly, and if they opt for publicity we will naturally bring you more information about them as it becomes available. In the meantime, Lotto players now have a £4.4 million jackpot to look forward to this Saturday 05 June.

Seven players matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball to each win a second-tier prize worth £100,791. Another 388 players matched five main numbers but no Bonus Ball to win a rather more modest third-tier prize of £1,136 each. Players who like to take Lottery Statistics into consideration when buying their lottery tickets might want to note that the most ‘overdue’ numbers right now are 22, 07, 13, 18, 14 and 43.

The top prize eluded players of the Thunderball game, where the results were 09, 22, 23, 28 and 35 and the Thunderball was 07. However, two players did match the five main numbers without the Thunderball to win a consolation prize of £5,000 each. Another 36 players matched four main numbers and the Thunderball to win £250 each. Of course, anyone who wants another go at landing a £500,000 Thunderball jackpot only has to wait until the next draw this Friday 4 June.

Players who have their heart set on winning multi-millions need look no further than the EuroMillions draw which also takes place on Friday 4 June. The jackpot this week will be worth around £12 million, and the associated Millionaire Raffle game is guaranteed to make one lucky UK player £1 million richer.

We congratulate everyone who won a midweek National Lottery prize this week, and we wish everyone else the best of luck in doing even better this weekend. Buy lottery tickets online and keep those fingers crossed!
