No rolls on the Saturday Lotto
Updated: Wednesday 23rd April 2014
After Friday night’s Euromillions twelfth rollover draw, players were eager to see the UK Lotto rollover won. They need not have worried as there were no rolls on the Saturday Lotto as two very lucky lottery players shared the £6.99 million UK Lotto rollover jackpot. It made small consolation for lottery players who had their sights set on the big one on Friday evening, but there wasn’t too much for the big winners to complain about!
And the big winners went further than the two jackpot winners. Being a lottery rollover, the stakes were high and in total, over £15 million was paid out in prize money in the draw. In the second tier prize pool – for players matching five and the bonus – a staggering £1.5 million was up for grabs, and as just eight players matched the winning numbers, each collects a very generous £189,000!
If you haven’t yet checked last night’s Lotto results, then it’s time to do so, as you may be one of the lucky winners. Even if you didn’t win a top prize, 442,58 players walk away with some cash after last night’s Lotto draw, so check the winning numbers now!
There’s plenty to look forward to over the next few days from the National Lottery, on Tuesday evening, the £154 million Euromillions rollover jackpot goes up for grabs, and then on Wednesday is the UK Lotto again! Make sure you have your lottery tickets in plenty of time for the draw, particularly the big one on Tuesday or you might be left disappointed!
