No Monday Blues for Lotto Winners

No Monday Blues for Lotto Winners
Updated: Wednesday 9th April 2014

It’s a sad observation that more people tend to greet Monday morning with a groan than with a smile, but there will be no Monday morning blues for the owners of the two tickets that shared the Lotto jackpot of £6.29 million on Saturday night. The Lotto results for Saturday 24 November were 02, 04, 27, 34, 39 and 44, with the number 37 selected as the Bonus Ball, and each of the tickets that matched all six main numbers is now worth £3,145,798. That’s a very handy windfall with less than 29 days to go until Christmas!

12 tickets matched five of the main Lotto numbers as well as the Bonus Ball to win a second-tier consolation prize of £107,764 each, and 442 tickets won £1,828 each by matching five main numbers only. 27,153 tickets matched four main numbers to win £65 each and another 519,157 tickets won £10 each by matching three main numbers. With two jackpot winners being created last Saturday, the midweek Lotto game this Wednesday will offer a brand new jackpot that is estimate to be worth around £2.2 million.

In the EuroMillions lottery game on Friday 23 November, the main numbers drawn were 01, 09, 11, 20 and 40, and the Lucky Star numbers were 01 and 05. The jackpot was worth just over £12 million, but none of the tickets entered for the game succeeded in winning it, so there will be a rollover jackpot of around £18 million to play for this Tuesday.

11 EuroMillions tickets matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star number to win £106,826 each, and 15 tickets won £26,113 each by matching five main numbers only. 119 tickets matched four main numbers and one Lucky Star to win £1,645 each, and all other winning tickets (there were over 2.99 million of them in total) won prizes of up to £83 each by matching fewer numbers. The biggest winner in the UK on Friday was the person who matched the Millionaire Raffle number TTM389773 for a prize of £1,000,000.

Well done to everyone who won a lottery prize at any point over the last few days, and we hope you will be able to avoid the Monday morning blues for some time to come. For those of you who didn’t win a prize, head this way to buy your midweek tickets online and if you don’t win £18 million in the EuroMillions game on Tuesday you just might land the £2.2 million Lotto jackpot on Wednesday. Good luck!
