Nine-Figure Jackpot for Easter!
Updated: Wednesday 9th April 2014
The midweek EuroMillions jackpot of £94 million rolled over last night, which means that we can now look forward to a nine-figure jackpot for the Easter holidays. Yes, you read that right, on Friday 29 March there will be a EuroMillions jackpot worth £110 million or thereabouts, so if you were to win that sum outright you could spend £1 million every week for the next two years and still have £6 million left over, plus interest. That probably wouldn’t be a sensible thing to do in actuality, but it certainly highlights the enormity of the prize on offer.
For those of you who participated in last night’s game but haven’t yet checked your tickets, the main numbers drawn on Tuesday 26 March were 04, 26, 30, 42 and 44, and the Lucky Stars were 06 and 11. There were two tickets that matched all five main numbers and one Lucky Star to land a fantastic second-tier prize of €1,007,262 each, but unfortunately neither of those tickets were purchased by players in the UK.
11 tickets matched five main numbers only for a third-tier prize of £41,396 each, and there were three UK tickets in that group. 64 tickets won £3,557 each by matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars, whilst 1,343 tickets matched four main numbers and one Lucky Star to land a prize of £148 each. The total number of EuroMillions prizes won last night was 3,116,765, and one player landed a life-changing prize of £1 million by matching the Millionaire Raffle number LJR996877.
Our congratulations obviously go to everyone who won a prize in last night’s game, but we can’t deny that we’re very excited about the prospect of winning £110 million this Friday. The combination of a nine-figure EuroMillions jackpot being followed by a long weekend for many of us here in the UK gives the whole game a rather festive feel, and with Easter being a celebration of new beginnings it would be perfectly fitting to celebrate a new beginning as a multi-millionaire!
Of course, there is a midweek Lotto jackpot of around £2 million to play for this evening (Wednesday 27 March) so hopefully someone will be celebrating before the end of today. Click here to buy your lottery tickets for both games and if you don’t win in one you might well win in the other! Good luck!
