New Year Rollovers

New Year Rollovers
Updated: Friday 10th October 2014

Rollovers in both the Lotto and EuroMillions games over the Christmas period mean that lottery players will be hoping to see the New Year in with a brand new fortune of particularly large proportions. The Lotto jackpot for this Wednesday 30 December will be worth an estimated £10 million thanks to two previous rollovers, and the EuroMillions jackpot this Friday 1 January will be worth around £24 million after last week’s jackpot also rolled over! The bottom line is that this dual rollover scenario now gives players two chances of enjoying a multi-millionaire lifestyle in 2010.

The lottery results for the EuroMillions draw on Friday 25 December were 04, 05, 14, 17 and 34, and the Lucky Star numbers were 03 and 05. Five players matched all five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win £345,806 each. Another five players matched the five main numbers only to win a third tier prize worth £98,134 each. Plenty of other prizes were also landed, with more than 2.05 million prizes being won in total. The Millionaire Raffle number, which once again made a single player a millionaire, was RDL990416.

The Lotto results for the draw on Saturday 26 December were 02, 08, 23, 25, 36 and 42, and the Bonus Ball was 30. Again, the jackpot eluded all players, but 14 Lotto enthusiasts did manage to match five of the main numbers and the Bonus Ball to win £90,487 each. 699 other players matched five of the main numbers only to win £1,132 each, and in total 627,983 prizes were won.

Now all eyes are looking forward to the New Years Eve celebrations, and what better way of injecting some additional excitement into the proceedings than by choosing to buy lottery tickets online? Land the double rollover jackpot in the Lotto game this Wednesday and you could be £10 million richer, whilst a EuroMillions jackpot win this Friday could be worth an even more life-changing £24 million! As always, our suggestion is that you play both games and give yourself a fighting chance of winning both jackpots! Good luck!
