New Year EuroMillions Jackpot Rolls!

New Year EuroMillions Jackpot Rolls!

The first EuroMillions jackpot of 2015 rolled over after none of the tickets purchased for the game succeeded in matching all five main numbers as well as both Lucky Stars. That sets things up nicely for a £17 million rollover jackpot game this Tuesday, and when you add that to the triple rollover jackpot that will be up for grabs in the Lotto game on Wednesday, the first full week of the year looks sure to be an exciting one. The EuroMillions results that helped to bring us to this point on Friday 2 January were 22, 24, 25, 28 and 49, with the numbers 03 and 06 appearing as the all-important Lucky Stars.

There were no UK winners at the second tier prize level on Friday, but two tickets purchased elsewhere won their owners €668,437 each by matching all five main numbers as well as one of the Lucky Stars. Another eight tickets, one of which had been entered by a player in the UK, matched the five main numbers only to win £40,160 each.

The consolation prizes got lower from there, with 32 tickets picking up £5,020 each by matching four main numbers as well as both of the Lucky Stars, and more than 2.19 million tickets winning smaller prizes by matching fewer numbers. Players in the UK collectively won more than £2.67 million in consolation prizes, and the Millionaire Maker code FHM965884 created a completely separate winner of £1 million.

Followers of our EuroMillions statistics will have noticed that two of the most overdue main numbers (22 and 24) were drawn last Friday, so well done to anyone who managed to pick up a prize with the help of those. As far as the next draw this Tuesday is concerned, the most overdue main numbers to consider playing are 43, 16, 11, 34 and 35, whilst the most overdue Lucky Stars continue to be 07 and 01.

It would certainly be nice to see the UK land the first EuroMillions jackpot of the year and get the nation off to a winning start, so we will keep our fingers crossed for someone reading these words to have exactly that kind of success on Tuesday. Visit this page to enter your numbers online and the first big jackpot winner of 2015 just might be you!
