Monster Weekend for Lottery Fans!

Monster Weekend for Lottery Fans!

The end of the current working week will be even more exciting than usual for lottery fans because both the EuroMillions and Lotto games are set to offer sizeable multi-rollover jackpots. The EuroMillions jackpot on Friday will be worth around £32 million, and the Lotto jackpot on Saturday will be worth around £18.8 million. Add in the guaranteed prizes of £1 million in the associated Millionaire Maker and Lotto Millionaire Raffle games and, as far as opportunities to win big money are concerned, it really does look like it is going to be a monster weekend!

The numbers that saw the Lotto jackpot roll over for the fifth draw in a row on Wednesday 9 March were 26, 31, 35, 37, 40 and 49, and the Bonus Ball number was 36. There were two tickets that matched five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to secure a second tier consolation prize worth £29,743 each, and another 38 tickets won £1,647 at the third tier by matching five main numbers only.

A fourth tier prize of £127 went to each of 3,174 tickets that matched four main numbers, the smallest cash prize of £25 was won by each of 76,095 tickets that matched three main numbers and over 769,000 tickets matched two numbers to win their owners a free Lucky Dip entry for the next draw. In addition to all of that, one ticket won £1 million by matching the Lotto Millionaire Raffle number, which was GREY 9206 9841, and another 20 tickets won £20,000 each in the Lotto Raffle game. The complete lists of winning raffle numbers can be viewed on our Lotto Results page.

One of the main Lotto numbers that was drawn last night (the number 49) had been identified as one that was most overdue to appear, and the main number 40 had been highlighted as one of the most common. The most overdue numbers as we head towards the £18.8 million draw on Saturday are 45, 07, 24, 20, 03 and 28. For the £32 million EuroMillions game on Friday, the most overdue main numbers are 34, 45, 17, 11 and 18, and the most overdue Lucky Stars are 08 and 04.

Weekend lottery games are always worth looking forward to, but with two monster jackpots to play for this Friday and Saturday, the coming weekend should be particularly special. Buy your tickets early to avoid the inevitable last-minute rush and you could soon be celebrating a monster jackpot win that changes your life forever! Good luck!
