Midweek Triple Rollover Lotto Jackpot
Updated: Wednesday 7th January 2015
The midweek Lotto game this evening could be one that makes someone rich beyond their wildest dreams thanks to it offering a triple rollover jackpot worth an estimated £9.5 million. All that stands between any participating player and that sum (or a share thereof) is the ability to match all six main numbers that will be drawn. Plenty of consolation prizes will also be on standby for those who match three main numbers or more, and the Lotto Raffle game will create 50 winners of £20,000 each, guaranteed. If that doesn't make your Wednesday evening an exciting one, we don't know what will!
If the midweek Lotto game doesn't deliver its top prize then there will be a double rollover jackpot of around £24 million to play for in the EuroMillions game on Friday. That's because no player was able to match the seven numbers drawn in the first EuroMillions draw of the week on Tuesday 6 January, and those numbers were 14, 20, 30, 38 and 39, along with the Lucky Star numbers 03 and 04.
There were two EuroMillions tickets that won £360,756 each by matching all five main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars, and we are delighted to report that one of those tickets had been purchased by a player right here in the UK. Four tickets won £60,126 each at the third tier by matching five main numbers only, and a prize of £4,146 went to each of 29 tickets that matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars.
The total number of consolation prizes won in the Tuesday EuroMillions game this week was 1,491,958, and the total amount of cash landed by players in the UK was £2,388,836. An additional prize of £1,000,000 was also won by the UK player who succeeded in matching the Millionaire Maker code, which was GHX600691.
With the first EuroMillions game of the week having been done and dusted, players can now have a go at winning the £9.5 million triple rollover jackpot in the midweek Lotto game. Click here to enter your numbers online and be sure to give us a shout if you win the big one!
