Midweek Millions for Lotto Players
Updated: Wednesday 13th August 2014
The EuroMillions jackpot rolled over in the first game of the week, so lottery players must now look to the midweek Lotto game for their next chance win millions. As always, one player won themselves millionaire status by matching the Millionaire Raffle number last night, and the winning number that gave someone the right to claim a prize of £1,000,000 this time was YFP510180. Over 1.6 million consolation prizes were also won in the main EuroMillions game, so it was a profitable night for many even though the jackpot itself gave players the slip.
The EuroMillions results on Tuesday 6 May were 05, 19, 24, 31 and 37, with the numbers 01 and 09 appearing as the Lucky Stars. There were three tickets that matched all five main numbers plus one of the Lucky Stars to win a second tier prize worth £227,820 each, and we are delighted to report that two of those tickets had been purchased right here in the UK, so well done to the lucky players concerned.
A third tier prize of £20,710 was won by each of 11 tickets that matched the five main numbers without either of the Lucky Stars, and another 36 tickets won £3,164 each by matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars. A total of 1,600,881 tickets won smaller prizes at the lower levels, and the total amount of cash won by UK players (not including the Millionaire Raffle prize mentioned earlier) was £2,192,642.
The next EuroMillions game this Friday 9 May will offer a jackpot with an estimated value of £20 million, but first we have the midweek Lotto game to play this evening. The Lotto jackpot has an official estimated value of £2.2 million, and players who want to include one or more of the most overdue numbers on their tickets should be considering the numbers 15, 24, 02, 46, 19 and 05.
Don't forget that the midweek Health Lottery game will also take place tonight. The Health Lottery costs half as much to play as Lotto or EuroMillions, and your chances of winning the top prize are 55 times better than in the EuroMillions game. The most overdue Health Lottery numbers are 02, 37, 23, 18 and 08, so it will be interesting to see if any of those make an appearance tonight.
Whatever games you choose to participate in this evening, and whatever numbers you decide to include on your tickets, click here to play online and good luck!
