Midweek Millions for Lottery Players
The midweek draws in the UK Lotto and Irish Lotto games on Wednesday 7 March will offer jackpots of around £2.2 million and €5 million, respectively, giving lottery players two separate opportunities to win themselves millionaire status in time for breakfast on Thursday. Even if you don’t manage to win a jackpot there are stacks of consolation prizes to be won, and there is also a EuroMillions rollover jackpot on the horizon because no player won the most recent jackpot on Tuesday 6 March. All of that gives players plenty of reasons to get excited about the days ahead.
The EuroMillions results on Tuesday were 23, 24, 27, 37 and 47, and the Lucky Star numbers were 02 and 06. Regular readers may recall that whilst a ticket purchased here in the UK won the jackpot in the previous EuroMillions draw on Friday 2 March, no UK player won a second-tier prize. Well, the draw on Tuesday turned the tables completely because the jackpot escaped the clutches of players everywhere but there was one winning ticket at the second-tier prize level and that ticket had been purchased by a Brit. He or she (or they if the ticket was bought for a lottery syndicate) is now £713,667 richer after matching all five main numbers and one Lucky Star number.
There were 6 winning tickets at the third-tier prize level and each of those matched five main numbers only to win £39,648 each. 29 tickets won £4,101 each after matching four main numbers as well as both Lucky Stars. There were more than 1.57 million prizes won in total and in the UK one player won £1 million after matching the Millionaire Raffle number CFV562568.
The odds of winning a jackpot in the UK Lotto or Irish Lotto games are much better than the odds of winning a jackpot in the EuroMillions game, so hopefully we will see someone else becoming a seven-figure prize winner this evening. Of course, you have to enter your numbers before you have chance of succeeding, so buy your lottery tickets online right now and keep your fingers crossed for tonight! Good luck!
