Midweek Millions for Hump Day
Updated: Wednesday 14th May 2014
Today is 'Hump Day' – the day that is situated right in the middle of the working week and which often puts a smile on the face of hard-working people across the nation. Why? Because, when today is over, we will all be just 48 hours away from the weekend and all the fun that we associate with it. That's a good thing, we're sure you'll agree, but the even better news about Hump Day is that it brings us the midweek Lotto game which gives us all a chance of escaping the nine to five rat race once and for all.
The simple fact of the matter is that anyone of legal age who reads these words can buy a ticket for tonight's Lotto game and enjoy a chance of winning a jackpot that is expected to be worth around £2.2 million. Just pick six numbers, wait for the draw to take place and if your numbers come up you can start planning some serious celebrations this weekend. Buy several tickets for the draw and you will increase your prize-winning chances as a result. Don't forget that every entry you purchase can also win you a Lotto consolation prize as well as a Lotto Raffle prize of £20,000.
Lottery players in the UK were hoping to win big in the EuroMillions game last night, and although many participants did just that, the biggest prize of all wasn't landed by anyone. The EuroMillions results on Tuesday 11 March were 01, 04, 23, 33 and 44, with the numbers 07 and 08 appearing as the Lucky Stars, and the jackpot that eluded players everywhere was worth £93 million.
There were five tickets that matched all five main numbers as well as one Lucky Star number to win a second tier prize worth £250,798 each, and one of those tickets had been purchased by a player in the UK. The third tier saw 11 tickets win £37,999 each by matching five main numbers only, and the total number of prizes landed was 3,096,444. The winning Millionaire Raffle number last night was FYR837497.
The next EuroMillions game this Friday will offer an even bigger jackpot which is expected to be worth around £107 million, so if you don't win yourself complete financial freedom in tonight's Lotto game you can have another go at winning yourself millionaire status at the end of the week. Click here to buy tickets for both games and good luck!
