Midweek Lotto Split Four Ways
Updated: Tuesday 22nd April 2014
The midweek Lotto jackpot will need to be split four ways after that many tickets matched all six main numbers on Wednesday 30 May. Those six main numbers were 07, 14, 25, 33, 45 and 48, and the jackpot had a final value of £2,253,796, so each of the winning tickets is now worth £563,449. That isn’t the biggest payout that we have ever seen for winning the UK Lotto, but landing over half a million pounds on a Wednesday evening is definitely a big deal for the four involved, so congratulations to each one of them!
10 tickets matched five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball (which was the number 11) to win £69,347 each. 394 tickets matched five main numbers only to win a third-tier prize of £1,100 each, and 295,458 tickets won either £57 or £10 each by matching four or three main numbers, respectively. With the midweek jackpot having been landed, there will be a brand new jackpot of around £4 million up for grabs in the weekend Lotto game this Saturday 2 June.
In the Irish Lotto game the results on Wednesday 30 May were 12, 15, 17, 30, 33 and 45, and the Bonus Ball number was 22. No player matched all six main numbers to win the jackpot (which was worth just over €4.69 million) and so the next jackpot this Saturday will be worth around €5 million. There were no winners at the second-tier prize level either, but 29 tickets did match five main numbers only to win a third-tier prize of €1,962 each.
70 tickets won €204 each by matching four main numbers plus the Bonus Ball, and 1,472 tickets matched four main numbers only to win €60 each. Another 27,437 tickets won prizes of either €28 or €5 each for matching three main numbers, with or without the Bonus Ball.
Good luck to everyone who plays the UK Lotto and Irish Lotto games this Saturday, and don’t forget that there is a whopping £92 million to be won in the EuroMillions game this Friday. Buy your lottery tickets online today and you just might start the month of June by winning yourself a life-changing jackpot!
