Midweek Lotto Rolls to Weekend
The midweek Lotto jackpot rolled over on Wednesday 14 March, so the jackpot in the weekend draw this Saturday will be worth around £6.6 million. That means you can play for the triple-rollover jackpot of £37 million in the EuroMillions game on Friday and still have a chance of becoming a multi-millionaire by Monday even if your EuroMillions numbers don’t click into place. If you are lucky enough to win yourself a jackpot this Friday or Saturday, you can then spend all day Sunday thinking about important stuff, such as whether or not you’ll go public with your win, and whether or not you will go to work on Monday!
Of course, if you haven’t yet checked your midweek Lotto tickets then there is still a chance that you have already won a consolation prize of some sort. The Lotto results on Wednesday were 14, 15, 18, 26, 31 and 36, and the Bonus Ball was 48. There were five tickets that matched five of the main numbers as well as the Bonus Ball, and each of those won £148,958, so if you are the lucky owner of one of those tickets you should make your claim now if you haven’t already done so.
211 tickets matched five main numbers without the Bonus Ball to win a third-tier prize of £2,206 each. 12,413 tickets matched four main numbers to win £82 each and 256,930 tickets won the smallest consolation prize of £10 each by matching three main numbers.
If you won a prize on Wednesday then we congratulate you, but don’t worry if you didn’t because you won’t have to wait long for your next chance to win millions. Every ticket you buy for the EuroMillions game gives you a 1 in 13 chance of winning any prize at all and every ticket purchased for the Lotto game gives you a 1 in 54 chance of winning, but because both the EuroMillions and Lotto games are offering extra large jackpots this Friday and Saturday, you might want to buy yourself one or two more tickets than usual to give yourself an even better chance of winning.
However many lottery tickets you choose to play, start thinking positive thoughts and good luck with the jackpots!
