Midweek Lotto Jackpots Roll Over
Updated: Tuesday 22nd April 2014
The jackpots in both the UK Lotto and Irish Lotto games rolled over on Wednesday 6 June, but although the night was disappointing for jackpot-hunters it did set things up nicely for a very exciting situation this weekend. On Friday 8 June there is a EuroMillions jackpot of around £126 million to play for, and then on Saturday 9 June players can have a go at winning around £6.5 million in the UK Lotto game as well as around €6.5 million in the Irish Lotto game.
The UK Lotto results on Wednesday were 09, 17, 20, 27, 37 and 41, and the Bonus Ball was 03. Although the jackpot wasn’t won by any player, 14 tickets matched five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win a second-tier prize of £47,991 each. 223 tickets won £1,883 each by matching five main numbers only, and 276,702 tickets matched either four or three main numbers to win smaller consolation prizes of £66 or £10 each.
In the Irish Lotto game on Wednesday the six main numbers drawn were 12, 13, 18, 24, 39 and 44, and the Bonus Ball was 29. Just one ticket won a second-tier prize in this game, landing a €25,000 lump sum by matching five main numbers as well as the Bonus Ball. 30 tickets won €2,099 each by matching five main numbers only and another 32,077 tickets picked up prizes of up to €168 by matching three main numbers or more.
As always, we would like to offer our congratulations to everyone who won a lottery prize of some sort on Wednesday, but we think that even more cash will be won in the rollover games this Friday and Saturday. Buy your lottery tickets online for whatever games you intend to play and good luck in landing yourself a jackpot!
