Midweek Lotto and Thunderball Winners
Updated: Wednesday 9th April 2014
There were winners in both of the main midweek lottery games on Wednesday, with one player landing the top Thunderball prize of £500,000 and another player taking the £6,692,418 jackpot in the Lotto. Add those prizes to the cash that was won in the EuroMillions and Millionaire Raffle games on Tuesday and it has clearly been a very successful week for players – and we’re just over half-way through! Now we have brand new jackpots of around £11 million and £4.5 million to play for in the EuroMillions and Lotto jackpots this Friday and Saturday!
The Lotto results on Wednesday 14 November 2012 were 14, 15, 17, 29, 30 and 33, and the Bonus Ball was 37. We have already established that one ticket matched all six main numbers to win the £6.69 million jackpot, but there were also ten winners at the second-tier prize level, and each of those matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win £79,980. That isn’t a life-changing amount of money, perhaps, but it will certainly make Christmas shopping a lot more fun for those concerned!
246 tickets matched five main Lotto numbers only to win a third-tier prize of £2,032 each, whilst 14,995 tickets won £73 each by matching four main numbers only. There were 301,859 tickets that matched three main numbers only to win £10 each, bringing the total number of prizes won to an impressive 317,111.
In the Thunderball game, the main numbers drawn by Excalibur 2 were 03, 20, 23, 26 and 30, and the Thunderball was 08. In addition to the single ticket that matched all of those numbers, four tickets matched the five main numbers only to win £5,000 each. 66 tickets won £250 each by matching four main numbers plus the Thunderball, and the total number or prizes won was 187,599.
Congratulations to everyone who won a prize in either of the midweek lottery games just mentioned, and good luck to those of you who buy tickets for the EuroMillions game this Friday. Enter the games right now and this time next week you could have several million pounds worth of extra cash in the bank!
