Midsummer Millions to be Won!

Midsummer Millions to be Won!
Updated: Friday 17th July 2015

This Sunday 21 June is the Summer Solstice, and we can’t think of a better way of marking the occasion than by winning a million or several in one of the UK’s favourite lottery games. The EuroMillions game this Friday will offer a rollover jackpot worth around £17 million, and the Millionaire Maker game on the same night will create one guaranteed winner of £1 million. Then, on Saturday, there will be a brand new Lotto jackpot of around £4.1 million up for grabs, as well as 50 guaranteed prizes of £20,000 each in the Lotto Raffle game.

The midweek Lotto game this week offered a quadruple rollover jackpot which had a final value of £12,903,324. The numbers drawn on Wednesday 17 June were 02, 08, 12, 15, 21 and 42, along with the Bonus Ball 22, and we are delighted to confirm that three tickets matched all six main numbers to land their owners an equal share of the jackpot worth £4,301,108.

There were six tickets that matched five of the main numbers as well as the Bonus Ball to win a second tier prize of £35,063 each, and another 364 tickets won £490 each by matching five main numbers only. At the lower levels, more than 288,000 tickets won £57 or £25 each for matching four or three main numbers, respectively, whilst the Lotto Raffle game once again awarded £20,000 to each of 50 winners.

One of the Lotto numbers previously highlighted as being most overdue to make an appearance (the number 02) was indeed drawn in the midweek game, so the most overdue main numbers for the next game this Saturday 20 June are 16, 13, 26, 44, 20 and 36.

Before we get to that Saturday night Lotto game, we have the £17 million rollover jackpot to pursue in the second EuroMillions draw of the week. The most overdue main numbers at the time of writing are 33, 12, 13, 38 and 27, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 04 and 02.

Of course, no one set of numbers has any greater chance of being drawn than any other, so if you would rather leave things to fate you could just as easily use our Random Number Generator to generate your entry automatically. Whatever numbers you play, enjoy the games on Friday and Saturday, enjoy the Summer Solstice on Sunday and good luck!
