Mega Friday for Halloween

Mega Friday for Halloween
Updated: Thursday 29th October 2015

There will be ghosts and ghouls aplenty at Halloween parties across the nation this weekend, but lottery players needn’t wait until Saturday night to try and land themselves a massive treat. The EuroMillions game will boast a quadruple rollover jackpot which is expected to weigh in at around £33 million, and the Millionaire Maker game will award a prize of £1 million and a luxury holiday to each of ten players thanks to the fact that this Friday 30 October is a Mega Friday.

Winners of the Mega Friday Millionaire Maker game will be able to choose any of three luxury holidays. The three destinations that winners can choose from are St Barths in the Caribbean, Aspen in Colorado and Los Cabos in Mexico, and all of the available holidays are for seven nights duration and will deliver a genuine VIP experience.

Midweek Lotto players who were hoping to win themselves multi-millionaire status this week were unfortunately unable to realise that ambition, because no player matched all six of the main numbers that were drawn. The main Lotto numbers on Wednesday 28 October were 26, 36, 41, 46, 49 and 52, and the Bonus Ball number was 09.

There were no second tier prize winners on Wednesday, but 19 tickets won a third tier prize worth £2,868 each by matching five main numbers only, and another 2,136 entries won £164 each by matching four main numbers. Over 610,000 tickets won consolation prizes, whilst the Lotto Raffle game awarded 20 prizes of £20,000 each and one Lotto Millionaire Raffle prize of £1 million.

The next Lotto game this Saturday 31 October will offer a jackpot worth an estimated £6.7 million, which would make it a Halloween night to remember for anyone lucky enough to win it. Of course, the Friday night £33 million EuroMillions jackpot and Mega Friday Millionaire Maker draws might have already put a smile on your face by then, so visit our Lottery Statistics pages if you want some inspiration for your entries, good luck and have a Happy Halloween!
