Massive Jackpot for EuroMillions Fans
The Tuesday EuroMillions game this week will give players the chance of winning a massive jackpot worth an estimated £42 million. The number 42 was famously cited as being the answer to the meaning of life, the universe, and everything in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, and it is a fair assumption that winning a £42 million jackpot would answer plenty of questions for the lucky player concerned. Of course, whether any player will be lucky enough to hitch a ride into a new life as a brand new multi-millionaire this Tuesday remains to be seen...
EuroMillions players on Friday 20 February saw the appearance of the main numbers 04, 10, 14, 37 and 46 as well as the Lucky Star numbers 04 and 07. The jackpot, which had rolled over in each of the four previous games, was worth £37,807,029 by the time the draw took place, and the fact that the next game will offer around £42 million obviously means that no player succeeded in matching all seven of the numbers that were drawn.
Five tickets matched all five of the main numbers plus one of the Lucky Star numbers to win a second tier prize worth £242,496 each, and we are delighted to confirm that two of those tickets had been purchased right here in the UK. Another five tickets matched the five main numbers only to win £80,832 each, and three of those tickets had been entered by UK players.
There were, as always, even more UK winners at the lower consolation prize tiers, and players in this country collectively won more than £4.33 million. The total number of prizes landed was 2,559,939, and an additional prize of £1 million went to the owner of the UK ticket bearing the Millionaire Maker code XMN947162.
One of the most overdue main numbers made an appearance in the EuroMillions game last Friday, and that was the number 04. For those of you who want to watch and see if more overdue numbers appear in the next game, the main numbers to look out for are 16, 11, 35, 36 and 48, whilst the most overdue Lucky Stars are 05 and 02.
Will the £42 million jackpot be won this Tuesday, and if it is, will it be won by you? The only way to find out is to enter your numbers and see what fate decides. Click here to buy your tickets online and good luck!
