March Brings New Lotto Jackpot
The new month of March has brought lottery players a brand new midweek Lotto jackpot that is expected to be worth around £2.1 million. Anyone who wins that figure in the draw this evening (or even a decent share of that figure if there are multiple winners) will soon be able to enjoy the coming spring, summer and subsequent seasons with a great deal of cash at their disposal. Even if the jackpot rolls over, consolation prizes will definitely be won by players matching three or more main numbers, and the Lotto Raffle game tonight is guaranteed to create 50 additional winners of £20,000 each.
Lottery players were hoping to win big in the EuroMillions game last night, but although there were plenty of consolation prizes landed, the jackpot itself proved elusive. For those of you who haven't yet checked your numbers, the EuroMillions results on Tuesday 3 March were 06, 08, 11, 13 and 21, and the Lucky Star numbers were 07 and 08.
There were 17 tickets that matched all five main numbers as well as one of the Lucky Stars to win £62,732 each, and another 13 tickets won £27,345 each by matching the five main numbers only. The sums at the lower levels were rather more modest, but UK players shared more than £2.93 million in consolation payouts, and over 2.72 million prizes were landed in total. A completely separate prize of £1 million was also won by the UK player who matched the Millionaire Maker code, which was BNX714267.
The next EuroMillions game this Friday will offer a Superdraw jackpot with a guaranteed value of €100 million, which should equate to around £72 million. We will talk more about that tomorrow, but right now we should focus on the midweek Lotto game with its brand new jackpot of around £2.1 million.
Followers of the most overdue Lotto numbers will want to keep an eye out for 26, 02, 11, 31, 05 and 43 this evening, whilst those of you who prefer to follow the most common numbers should be on the lookout for 23, 40, 44, 38, 30 and 33. Of course, every set of numbers has exactly the same chance of success, so visit this page to enter your own preferred numbers online and good luck!
