Lucky Seven for Midweek Lotto?
The Lotto game is currently enjoying an unbroken run of six consecutive jackpot wins, so hopes are running high that tonight’s draw will make it a super-lucky seven. The jackpot this evening will be worth an estimated £2.1 million, and if that isn’t enough to get excited about there will be 50 guaranteed winners of £20,000 each in the associated Lotto Raffle game. Every ticket purchased has exactly the same chance of winning, so even if a player buys just one entry they will have a very real shot at matching the six main numbers required to get rich quick!
In the EuroMillions game on Tuesday 17 March, the main numbers that were drawn were 11, 23, 26, 38 and 44, and the Lucky Stars were 01 and 08. Regular players may have noticed that two of those numbers (the main number 23 and the Lucky Star number 01) had also appeared in the previous draw, but that fact didn’t help anyone to win the jackpot, so the top prize in the next game this Friday will be worth an estimated £32 million. (Incidentally, the main number 23 has now appeared in each of the last four draws, so it will be interesting to see if it appears again this evening).
Four tickets – two of which had been bought here in the UK – matched all five of the main numbers and one of the Lucky Star numbers to secure a second tier prize worth £209,614 each, which isn’t a bad sum at all for a consolation prize. Another 17 tickets matched the five main numbers only to win £16,440 each, and 39 tickets won £3,583 each by matching four main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars.
The total number of consolation prizes won in the Tuesday EuroMillions game this week was 1,872,409, and the total amount of cash won by players in the UK was £2,829,761. As always, the Millionaire Maker game created a separate winner of £1,000,000, and the lucky number this time was GQF136093.
Players will no doubt look forward to the triple rollover jackpot that will now be on offer in the EuroMillions game this Friday, but the midweek Lotto draw could make someone’s lottery dreams come true in just a few hours from now. Click here to enter your numbers online and you just might be the player who extends the current Lotto streak to seven jackpot wins in a row! Good luck!
