Lucky Lotto Ticket Holder Scoops £10.3 Million Jackpot

Lucky Lotto Ticket Holder Scoops £10.3 Million Jackpot

Saturday’s Lotto draw saw one lucky ticket holder win a jackpot worth a sensational £10.3 million. The player successfully matched all six main numbers to claim the eight-figure reward and become the first top prize winner since Saturday 12th November, when a single ticket holder scooped a sum of over £5.6 million.

The winning Lotto numbers were 1, 2, 28, 40, 48 and 49, with 17 making an appearance as the Bonus Ball. In addition to the jackpot winner, a further 1,415,127 players benefited from the draw, each receiving rewards ranging from a free Lucky Dip ticket for matching two numbers to £21,024 for matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball. For a full breakdown of prizes and extra draw information, head to the Lotto Results page.

With the identity of Saturday’s jackpot winner still unknown, players are being urged to carefully check their tickets. By winning the jackpot, the lucky lottery fan has become the 20th player of 2016 to secure Lotto’s most coveted prize and the 13th to land an eight-figure sum. This is also the fourth win in the last eight draws, making November the luckiest month of the year so far. This late flurry of wins may give many players plenty of hope that December will be just as prosperous.

The latest victor wasn’t the only player to secure a sizeable reward this weekend, as one lucky ticket holder matched the winning Millionaire Raffle Code, JADE 5659 2582, to walk away with a windfall of £1 million. There were also 20 prizes of £20,000 available, the winning codes for which can be found on the Lotto Results page.

The Lotto jackpot total has been reset ahead of Wednesday’s draw when the top prize will be a guaranteed £2 million, a sensational prize that is certain to leave any potential winner with a spring in their step in the run up to Christmas. Tickets are available to buy online or from any authorised retailer throughout the country. Good luck!
