Lucky 7th for Lotto Players?
The number 7 is considered lucky by many lottery players, so the fact that the first midweek Lotto game of the month happens to have fallen on the 7th could be viewed as quite a good omen. We hope so, because the jackpot rolled over in each of the last two Lotto games, and the EuroMillions jackpot rolled over for the eleventh time in a row last night. To say that lottery fans are hungry for a win would be an understatement, and we look forward to seeing if someone lands the £8.8 million on offer this evening!
The EuroMillions results that brought about the eleventh consecutive rollover last night were 07, 20, 25, 35 and 41, and the Lucky Star numbers were 01 and 09. There were two tickets at the second-tier prize level, and each of those won €1,016,014 by matching all five main numbers and one Lucky Star. Neither of those tickets was purchased in the UK, but one UK player fared even better by matching the Millionaire Raffle number NQX022541 to win the grand sum of £1,000,000.
14 tickets (6 of them purchased in the UK) won £34,286 each by matching the five main numbers only, and another 71 tickets matched four main numbers and both of the Lucky Star numbers to win £3,380 each. There were more than 3.21 million prizes won in total last night, and we are almost certain to see even more prizes won in the £121 million EuroMillions game this Friday.
In the meantime, we have that £8.8 million double rollover Lotto jackpot to play for, and those of you who like to take our Lotto Statistics into consideration when buying your tickets will be keen to hear that the most overdue numbers right now are 34, 38, 12, 28, 35 and 44. The most common numbers are 44, 38, 23, 40, 39 and 25.
Will today turn out to be the ‘lucky 7th’ for someone reading these words? Visit this page to buy your tickets for tonight’s Lotto game and if your numbers come up you could be £8.8 million richer by this time tomorrow! Good luck!
