Lucky 13 for Lotto Players?

Lucky 13 for Lotto Players?

The Lotto jackpot has rolled over for twelve draws in a row, so players are now wondering if tonight’s draw will help someone to prove that the number 13 really can be lucky for some. The latest jackpot is expected to be worth around £42.2 million, which would be more than enough for an outright winner to become the biggest Lotto winner in the history of the game. Add in the fact that the Lotto game this evening will be the last one of 2015 and we think that demand for tickets will be particularly high, so be sure to purchase your entries as soon as possible to avoid the last-minute rush.

The final EuroMillions game of 2015 took place last night, and the results for Tuesday 29 December were 05, 20, 31, 32 and 36, with the numbers 06 and 07 appearing as the Lucky Stars. The top prize for anyone who could match all of those numbers was £23,871,796, but no player succeeded in doing that, and so the jackpot rolled over for a third consecutive draw.

There were four entries that won a second tier prize worth £211,553 each by matching all five main numbers plus one of the Lucky Stars, and we are pleased to report that one of those winning entries had been purchased by a player in the UK. Another 10 tickets matched the five main numbers only to win a third tier prize worth £28,207 each, and 31 entries won £4,549 each by matching four main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars.

As usual, the sums won at the lower levels were smaller, but more than 1.65 million prizes were won in total and UK players collectively landed in excess of £2.56 million. In addition, one UK player became £1 million richer by matching the Millionaire Maker code, which was ZVF557089. The next EuroMillions game on Friday 1 January will offer a jackpot worth an estimated £30 million.

Whilst lottery enthusiasts will undoubtedly look forward to the EuroMillions game on New Year’s Day, the midweek Lotto jackpot this evening boasts an even bigger jackpot and gives players the chance to end 2015 on a very high note indeed. Check out our Lotto Statistics page if you’d like some inspiration for your numbers, enjoy the draw this evening and good luck!
