Lotto Rollover Thrills this Weekend!

Lotto Rollover Thrills this Weekend!

The EuroMillions jackpot might have seen its sequence of rollovers come to an end last Tuesday, but the UK and Irish Lotto games both picked up that rollover baton in the midweek draws which took place last night. That will give players plenty of Lotto rollover thrills this weekend, with the UK Lotto offering a jackpot worth £5.9 million and the Irish Lotto boasting a jackpot worth €3.5 million. Play for the new EuroMillions jackpot of £12 million on Friday too and you can take advantage of winning opportunities galore!

UK Lotto fans had seen their favourite game create at least one jackpot winner in each and every draw since the beginning of the month, and many were hoping that it would continue doing so until the very end. Unfortunately, the unbroken chain of jackpot wins reached its conclusion just two from home, and the numbers responsible for that demise on Wednesday 26 June were 08, 11, 29, 34, 40 and 41. Whilst no player matched all of those numbers to extend the run of jackpot wins, three tickets matched five of them plus the Bonus Ball (35) to win a second-tier prize of £229,243 each.

There were 191 Lotto tickets that matched five of the main numbers only to win a third-tier prize of £2,250 each, and 10,982 tickets matched four main numbers to win £86 each. The smallest possible prize of £10 went to each of 216,066 entries that matched three main numbers only, bringing the total amount of Lotto prize money landed to £4,222,591.

The Irish Lotto results for Wednesday 26 June were 06, 20, 29, 31, 35 and 42, and the Bonus Ball was 33. There was one second-tier prize winner who emerged from the game €25,000 richer thanks to matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball, and there were more than 23,000 prize-winning tickets in total. 27 of those tickets matched five main numbers only to win €1,766 each, and all of the others landed smaller prizes by matching fewer numbers.

Now that we have seen rollovers in both of the midweek Lotto games, the big question is whether or not they will both end the month by delivering those rollover jackpots to players. Click here to buy your lottery tickets online (don’t forget the £12 million up for grabs in the EuroMillions game!) and you might be pleasantly surprised by the answer to that question! Good luck!
