Lotto Rollover Jackpot this Saturday
There will be a Lotto rollover jackpot of around £5.9 million to play for this Saturday 20 July after none of the tickets entered for the midweek game succeeded in matching all six of the main numbers drawn. Yesterday we had highlighted the fact that the Lotto game had produced jackpot winners in 16 of the last 18 draws, so that stat has now dropped to 16 in 19. It is still a very good overall trend (a strike rate of just over 84%) so hopefully the jackpot-winning ways will resume this weekend.
The Lotto results for Wednesday 17 July were 06, 24, 33, 38, 42 and 43, and the Bonus Ball was 11. There were 230 tickets that came very close to landing the jackpot, matching five of the six main numbers, and four of those tickets also matched the Bonus Ball to win a second tier consolation prize worth £165,575 each. The other 226 tickets that matched five main numbers only had to settle for a much more modest third tier prize worth £1,831 each.
There were 13,477 Lotto tickets that matched four main numbers only to win £67 each, and the smallest prize of £10 was won by each of 217,265 tickets that matched three main numbers. The total amount of cash landed by consolation prize winner was £4,151,715.
Players of the Health Lottery game last night didn’t fare any better as far as top prize winners were concerned. The main numbers drawn were 11, 12, 17, 32 and 45, and the Bonus Ball number was 47. No ticket matched five main numbers to land the biggest possible prize of £100,000, but more than 2,000 tickets matched enough numbers to pick up a consolation prize of some kind.
On a brighter note, there was one jackpot winner in the Irish Lottery game. The single successful ticket, which was purchased in the south of the country, matched all six main numbers (02, 03, 04, 19, 33 and 38) to win a massive €6,185,074. Well done to the lucky jackpot winner, and to the owners of more than 35,000 tickets that won a smaller prize by matching fewer numbers, with or without the Bonus Ball 16. The next Irish Lottery jackpot this Saturday will be worth a guaranteed €2 million.
The next big game on the agenda is EuroMillions, which will offer a brand new jackpot of around £13 million this Friday 19 July. Click here to buy your tickets online and good luck!
