Lotto Rollover Jackpot this Saturday
Updated: Tuesday 22nd April 2014
There will be a Lotto rollover jackpot worth around £6.5 million to play for this Saturday 14 April, making it the third Saturday in a row where the jackpot has rolled over from the preceding midweek game. The Lotto results that were responsible for the jackpot rollover over on Wednesday 11 April were 20, 27, 33, 41, 44 and 46, and the Bonus Ball number was 12. We reported yesterday that the EuroMillions game this Friday will offer a quad-rollover jackpot of around £43 million, so the next few days will give UK lottery players at least a couple of chances to win themselves multi-millionaire status.
Two tickets came very close to winning the Lotto jackpot on Wednesday, but had to settle for winning a second-tier prize of £392,749 each after matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball. The Bonus Ball was worth a staggering amount midweek, because 176 tickets that matched five main numbers without it won the far more modest sum of £2,789 each. 10,899 tickets won £99 each by matching four main numbers only, and another 217,712 tickets matched three main numbers to win £10 each.
Because the Lotto jackpot this Saturday will be higher than usual once again, many lottery players will try to take advantage of the ‘extra value for money’ situation by purchasing more tickets to increase their chances of winning. Players who intend to do this might also want to take a look at our Lottery Statistics page that provides statistical information on how all of the 49 numbers have fared in past draws. It even highlights the six main numbers that are most overdue to be drawn, and we can tell you right here that those numbers are 34, 04, 30, 29, 13 and 07. Will any of those Lotto numbers come up this Saturday? We’ll just have to wait and see!
Buy your lottery tickets online today for the EuroMillions game on Friday as well as the Lotto game on Saturday and if you don’t win the jackpot in one you might be lucky enough to win it in the other. Enjoy the games and good luck!
