Lotto Rollover Game this Saturday
Lotto players will have a rollover jackpot of around £5.8 million to play for this Saturday 17 August because none of the tickets purchased for last night’s game proved able to match all six of the numbers drawn. We already have a EuroMillions jackpot of £60 million to try and win this Friday, so with the two big rollover games back-to-back we can look forward to a very exciting couple of days. Indeed, someone reading these words could soon be celebrating the win of a lifetime!
The Lotto results for Wednesday 14 August were 12, 18, 38, 39, 45 and 49, and the Bonus Ball was 19. There were four tickets that matched five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball number, and each of those tickets won their owners a second tier prize worth £176,778 each. Another 168 tickets won £2,630 each by matching five main numbers only, and over 220,000 tickets matched four or three main numbers to pick up a consolation prize worth £92 or £10 each.
Over in Ireland, the Irish Lotto game also gave its fans a jackpot rollover. The Irish Lotto results were 09, 17, 27, 38, 39 and 42, and the Bonus Ball was 20. No player managed to win a second tier prize, but 21 tickets matched five main numbers only to win a third tier prize of €2,630 each. Over 29,000 tickets won smaller prizes by matching fewer numbers, and the next Irish Lotto jackpot will be worth around €6 million.
The final chance to win big last night came via the Health Lottery game. The main numbers drawn were 06, 09, 21, 25 and 43, and the Bonus Ball was 37. No player matched the five main numbers required to win the top prize of £100,000, but there were more than 11,300 consolation prizes of up to £10,000 landed, so well done if you were lucky enough to win one of them!
Back-to-back rollovers are much less common in the Lotto game than they are in EuroMillions, so lottery players will be hoping to get their hands on the £5.8 million jackpot this Saturday even if the £60 million jackpot in the EuroMillions game continues rolling. Click here to buy tickets for both games online, and if you don’t win big in one you just might win big in the other! Good luck!
